Current status!

Well, ... I took a day off yesterday to do most of the physical checking. Went to Damai Specialist Centre and get my ankle checked as it's getting more pain lately. I got it checked with specialist and also get a x-ray done on it too. Doctor said the ankle's bones seems good and it is at least, intact. But he is suspecting something of the ligaments that's not right and so, he wrote me a referal letter to physiotherapy and he adviced me to get a very specific type of ankel support. Got all that done yesterday and got my 1st session of physiotherapy done about 15 minutes ago. Well, the conclusion I get from the 2 treatments and exercises... my ankle is weak and a huge part of sections of the ligaments are gone and so, yes, ... it's more to getting it back. As what they shown me, my ankle collapsed quite badly. Oh well, as long as I am diligent in my exercises, it's going to be fine in a month or two times hopefully...
Since I finished the ankle 'inspection' in the morning, I went to get my blood test done too. I never done a FULL blood test before and so, yes, ... I got that done too. Result will be out in a few days time.
So, ya ya... that's my current status!

What will you do?

What will you do when you don't want to think of the worries that seems 'stuck' in your brain and will never let it go and it haunt you and made you suffer? Will you just sleep? Get yourself drunk? Make yourself super busy? Or lives life as if nothing happen? Can you sit still in your own apartment / room, just to watch some movie? Cook some food, eat and sleep?
I found it so difficult to deal with all these all by myself. Whenever I am alone, thoughts of worries, struck my heart so strong that tear just came down uncontrollably. It's scary, frightening, insecure, no peace... don't get me wrong. Not that I do not know God is my provider or that He will take care of everything. I understand He has a plan for me too. I too want to be positive in things and just trust in the Lord. Somehow, the positive thoughts only comes in when I am not alone, when I am busy, my brain is occupied. Apart from that, goodness... it's sort of impossible to get my brain stop wandering around that section...
In additional to this, I can't seems to find anyone to understand this... and it's so hard to find a friend around to talk about this and/or to 'entertain' me to ease my pain..... (totally understand some of you where proximity is the problem). Yes, no internet at home somemore... errrgggg... (Tried subscribe to Streamyx Combo Package, but all port at my place is full) !!! At the end of the day... all I do is to make myself super tired and sleep (which I have failed to do due to jet lag). What a solution...
HHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEELLLLPPPPPPPP!!!!!!

Hahaha...

Yes.. that's the sound in the office this afternoon... because of me!!!! I can't believe this... from morning until now, I have been making fun of by the judges, the lawyers, my clerks... hahahaha... I just don't know how to say.... !!!!
Well, I came in to office telling my partners that I almost being held contempt in the court this morning because I argued strongly with the judge on my reasoning and I cannot accept what he said, etc. etc. Well, they do agreed with me too but nothing can be done. So, yes, I was frustrated this morning with such a matter in the early morning and yes, I was the first case. One of my partner told me i should check with the other side of the lawyer of why didn't they pay our client the 10% deposit. It's my file and as I wasn't around, she was helping me on this and that's what she discovered. I called the other side of the lawyer, she confirmed that the cheque was cleared since 08.07.2008. I did check the file before I call.. no such letter in the file enclosing cheque, etc. No photocopy of cheque somemore, etc. etc. No writing stated in the record column too. Since the lawyer which is kind of close with me state that, I checked the receipt book instead with my partner. Yes. we found the receipt and I was asking, why ask me to do such a thing, etc. and they were laughing, as I need to call the lawyer back and explain things. Once I put down the phone, they were laughing non-stop of my way of handling that matter. At the same time, my partner also tender me a letter on another file and when I read, I cannot stop laughing... of the mistake the other lawyer made. I told them, they laugh non-stop too and goodness, they came around me and pat my shoulders and laugh... I called the other side of lawyer to tell him the mistake he made, he too laugh... goodness.. what a day!!!!
Anyway, guess God does know I need a bit of laughter today... hahahahahaha....

Brain Tumor?

Sorry sorry sorry... I don't mean to frighten you bah.... but yes, thanks for calling up and texing me, ok? hahaha.... now I found it as a joke.
It was a doctor friend who suggested I shall get myself checked although he was quite sure that, it's not going to be at the end. hahaha.... (not going to describe in detail lah, but it's a joke.. hahaha... ). Oh well, as I was having this terrible headache on Sunday and Monday, I wonder really, since when thing goes wrong with my head as I recalled, I have no experience of that before. So, when I was kind of 'free' during lunch time, I checked that out in the internet and when I came to the 'brain tumor' ... I just shocked that, ... all that listed are what I am experincing. hahaha... but just like my friend said, it's too 'perfect'. hahaha... Anyway... no. I am not having brain tumor, instead, it's just that my brain was challenged to the fullest while I refused it to be. As age is catching up and so on, brain also getting slower. I can hardly take suprises and sudden incident which I used to be very good in handling them. I must say, I am getting older. That's the fact that I probably need to face.
Worries that got me for the past few weeks... ghoosh... it's hard to handle practically la...... but of course most of you do know, I can forget about things when I am 'busy'. NO TIME to think of all that lah, ... of course, until next week.. when I need to pay for rental and car loan, etc... will think then lah... hahahaha...
Some of you have been really really encouraging. Thanks... You have been really supporting me throughout. ... I really appreciate that!!!
So, yes, even if I die with brain tumor soon... it's ok... I know at least that, some people in the world still know who I am lah... not so and so's daughter, so and so's sister only. hahaha... I don't mind if it's "neh.. the always fierce one", the what what what, etc. etc....
I remember I was always asked what will I do if I know I only have 1 more month to lives. The first time I was asked was in my 9 years old I think... my answer is still the same now... that, I will try to love those no one would love by sharing with them the gospel. I will go to dangerous places as it has no different to die there or not, be killed, or whatever... I guess, that's the 'clue' for you to know if I am about to die soon. If I happen to go away to a particular place for some reason, you know I know lah. hahahahahaha.........
Since I am still in KK and 'suffering' and 'struggling' with life... you know I am not going to die yet lo.... so, brain tumor? hahaha... I let you have the medical report next week, ok? Once it is out, will let you know. Promise. hahaha...

Update of yesterday!

Thanks for those who called me and asked "Ui, play being disappear ah?". hahaha... indeed, although I was being woken up, your concern is very much appreciated. Well, just to update you what happen to me yesterday. Dragged myself up to go to court in the morning. Went to toilet, looked at the mirror and I felt worse than a 'rubbish' and my headache and my jet lag and nose bleeding and vomitting obviously has caused me much suffering a night before. I wanted so much to just go back to my bed and close my eyes... but I have court matter. Wait till 8am, I called my opponent and thank God they picked up the call and confirmed that I do not need to be in court if I don't want to and they are happy to stand in for me. After the conversation, I get myself changed, and went back to bed. I can't remember how... but I guess as soon as my head touched the pillow, I was as good as 'dead' until someone sms me. All my clients 'traced' me well. They can 'disappear' for a good 3 weeks and yesterday, calls just came in non-stop. Head was like burning. I don't even dare to open my eyes... the lights were like hitting straight to my brain and twist it to the fullest. Woke up at 4pm, it almost gone... and only at around 6pm, not only my headache came back... but also my nose bleeding. Interestingly and graciously.... the bleeding was somewhat 'internal' and I can only smell and taste it... and it cannot be seen. Otherwise, it would be 'torturing' to stay on in a prayer meeting. hahaha...
Well, took another 2 pain killer after I reached home and went to bed... woke up at 12 something and stayed on till around 3:30am...
I am feeling much better today. I thought no more 'urgent' matter for me this week but 'fortunately' tons are on my table now... but I guess I will only react to them FULLY only next week.
Checked online ... and this is what I got...
MedicineNet.com states:
These are the most common symptoms of brain tumors:
1. Headaches (usually worse in the morning)
2. Nausea or vomiting
3 Changes in speech, vision, or hearing
4. Problems balancing or walking
5. Changes in mood, personality, or ability to concentrate
6. Problems with memory
7 Muscle jerking or twitching (
seizures or convulsions)
8. Numbness or tingling in the arms or legs
I ran through this list again and again trying to convince myself that I do not have one or two of them, but ... unfortunately.. I have them all. hahaha..
Interesting isn't it?
Well, I am fine and well today. So, I shall be good today.

Harder...

Things made me recalled on what happen to me when I left England 8 years ago and seriously, it was peaceful, and I had this feeling that I will go back there again and the feeling of separation wasn't really there. It's just like leaving your home town to further your study somewhere else.
Many asked me about my feeling about going back to England for 3 weeks and well, what can I say? For those who stayed in KL before, guess it's just like going back to KL. Everything seems familiar. Nothing seems 'new' and because of that, I did felt a bit 'bored' instead if you know what I meant.
May be my spirit was renewed then in England on my 2nd year (rebel on 1st year) and grew on 3rd year, going back to England indeed reminded me a lot about my spiritual life. That includes conversations with some of my mentors and friends. Most of them seens the "changed" me before and after and so, when conversations on such topics was again discussed, ... the feeling was so much 'complicated' and I am seriously having difficulties to explain it to anyone.
Through this trip, indeed, I am challenged by God to move forward. Yes, a decision that's so difficult to make and a thought that's too complicated to digest. Ghoosh... I am just feeling suffocated now!
Situation gets tougher even when I reached KK where all those familiar thing here, a place where I call home is suddenly become ... an 'unknown' place to me. For a while, I thought, did I left this place 3 weeks or 3 years? Almost a month not leading the cell group has made me wonder whether I still the leader of this group and in fact, I am totaly confuse now of how to lead the group again. All I heard are the things 'used' to happen in "my" cell group during my absent and which I have no connection with, sort of. I am confused. I am lost.
When I stepped into my office this afternoon (suppose to just to collect a file), the feeling of 'insecurity' set in. I was seriously in fear... the question of 'what's next' really frighten me... for a moment, the questions of "why are u putting me here for" and "why do I need to go through all these alone?"
I know I shall cast all my trouble and anxiety unto Him, but... practically, I have failed today. The most horrible thing was because I was all alone, it was really a hard fight ...
No. I still haven't get over with all these. At the same time of dealing with all these, not only that I was left alone, but also I need to get myself ready for tomorrow's court case.
Can anyone understand what I am going through here at this very moment?? Do you know what am I trying to say? You ever be this confused? I did cried out loud for help. HHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible Culture and manner

I guess, the most annoying matter which you can get in a long distant flight is that you met someone whom I met on my journey from London Heathrow to Dubai. This family happen to sat next to me. 6 of them all together. From the beginning of the flight until it end, I didn't even manage to sleep for more than 2 hours because they were making noises - fight, shout, running around, playing on their seats, etc. etc. It was for a long time now that I didn't feel like punching someone on his/her face/stomach and them, I can tell you seriously that it does occured in me that I wanna shout at them and punch them hard on their stomach and/or face. I was that fierce then. On the second occasion where I was woke up fierce, I really said something in Hakka to Annie in a very loud voice and I also looked them and pointed my finger on them in this super fierce face and they did notice. Then I put my thing on the chair, stood up and leave my place to the toilet. On the 3rd occasion, ghoosh.... I really dreamt in my dream that I wanna punch them. When I woke up with fierce, this lady sat behind one of them came and scolded one of them. When she returned to her seat, they were still laughing at it and I couldn't stand but also tell them off that, this is not funny.
Guess what's the most unbelievable thing. All these while, the parents of these people didn't even bother. In fact, the father saw the 3rd occasion and still laugh at them and sees it as a joke. Can you believe what sort of parents they are? In my mind, I can only recalled all those words my mother used on this kind of people : "Kurang ajar", "Sau Kau Jao", and more... hahaha.. better don't get me started on this.
So, Annie and I were praying that they will not return after Dubai. Yes. Guess they are the Dubai's citizen and that makes me feel sick with this country ever since. What sorts of culture and manner that was? So yes... that caused me lost most of my sleeps then... and only manage to sleep about 5 hours in total of 2 days's sleeps lost. I feel like zombi now althought I did manage to slept 3 abd a half hours just now. When we reached Brunei, I straight away find myself a chairs and sleep, until Annie came and asked if I need to rent a room for 4 hours, which we finally did.
Still, I am feeling TIRED now... sleepy to be exact. Eyes and mind are closing....

Last day!

Last day in England (this trip) is kind of relax. After breakfast with our host, we took a bus to Birmingham to meet up with Annie's Godmother. Oh yes... finally, Annie got the chance to sit on the top of a double decker (which she said she always dream to have that chance). We travelled around Birmingham city centre and wow... lots of memories came back... and I shall say, at least, Birmingham has some changes over this 8 years. hahahahaha... A new shopping mall is builded and it's huge... so, yes, that's something new for me.
Annie's Godmother and her husband sent us back after that and all that we spent for today was 1 pound fifty pence for our bus trip (trust me, today's bus driver was the most unfriendly one I ever met).
We are leaving Walsall tonight at 2345 to catch a coach at Birmingham Coach Station at 0045 on 17th July and we will be leaving England at 0935. So, yes... stay tune... I am on my way back to 'ruin' your life... hahahahahahahahaha....

New discovery!!!

Yah... someone suggested that shouting at someone might not be right, but the other party who was being shouted at, should somehow forgive and the other party who did the shouting can just forget about things and win over the matter without saying 'sorry'. Profound finding of mine today....
Well, most of you out there do know the above statements somehow applied to me... (may be because of me, the above 'rules' or 'discovery' is formed) ...almost in ALL occasions... and yes, I am always the one being shouted at. hahahaha... funniest part is, it happen to me again and again and it has never IMPROVED. Yes... and they (the one shouting) got away with the title "WIN" without saying 'sorry' somehow. I still remember there's this one oaccasion where I was FORCED by my friends to win over that occasion. I must say, that's the ONLY one I have done. That's because I was FORCED to by all my friends. hahahaha...
So, I made a resolution... to SHOUT at someone before I got shouted (if necessary). hahahahahahahahahah....

Memories...

Yes, I have been telling some that, coming back to England indeed not only giving me the feeling of 'coming home', but also has brought back many many many memories. Today, with no difference made, I was being reminded of the old days.... where I used to attend art classes every week. For some time, it was in the Thursday evening and for most of the time, it was the Saturday afternoon. I started going to art class when I was 9 years old and was there until 18. Yes... I could be better than any art students as I have learned many technices compare to most people.
Well, how does this memory comes about? well, ... our host have a speaker who is a Vicar and her friends around for what they call "Quiet Garden" session since morning at 10:30am. The speaker talked about the Art and the Spirituality and at the midst of the session, we were asked to draw something. For your information, my host has a very huge garden and so, I just sat down and start drawing with my carbon on a normal A4 size paper. Well, i didn't put much detail in it seriously... and I was so tired and lazy in drawing. You probably found out by now that, I have not been drawing since the age 18 years. hahahaha.... and yes... I was just playing with the carbon and the paper I got... and at the end of the session, the speaker told me, I can sell the drawing of mine. hahahahaha.... I made a good laugh on that of course... as it's just a 30 minutes drawing and I didn't get any details on anything in the garden. Anyway, the rest of them also thought it's a nice drawing, whcih made me wonder by now, if I really have the talent to draw. hahahaha....
Anyway.... glad to be reminded of the old days... really.

Humility...

I think... I still think.. this is an important element in a christian life, especially to christian leaders. I really admire those who are really humble. I met a few here in the conference. Althoguh they are Bishop, Archdeacon, but they are humble and they are down to earth. Sadly, I shall say, I can find probably only 1 in our Diocese.
The worse part is, sometimes, people who is not in authority also lack of humility and that has caused serious conflict to and with the rest. Trust me, one in a group is enough to make the rest suffer. I wonder if it is selfishness that cause it... but some people just love to be recognised and they would rather 'step on you' in order for them to achieve their 'goal'. And the worse part is, we were being stepped but we don't understand why we were stepped since we are not interested in their 'goal'. But seriously, seeing them using all the strategies to achieve their 'goal' is enough to make me sick. Don't understand what I am trying to say? Hmm.. you must be the one who is achieving the 'goal' instead of the victim like me then...
It's easier for the humble one to be with the Lord. Trust me... and yes... with whatever 'goal' that you want to achieve.. without being humble... too bad... you won't achieve the goal anyway... so, ... start acting smart... be humble!!!! You are never the BEST!

Update!

I am alright, I am alright.. I am well. I just couldn't remember I wrote something about my sickness and haven't get back to tell you that I am alright already. It must be your prayers that 'shoo' away my sickness... hehehe.. thanks for praying, really!!!!

Let me first update you on what happen for the past few days. On Saturday, I finally had the chance to meet up with my ex-housemates and goodness... with almost 8 years of not seeing each other, we are the same... and I can't believe it really reminded me on how close we were when I was around. Life moves on. We talked on the future as well as the past... of course I manage to tell them about our other friends and how things was and is for me, etc... well, ... we had a really good time seriously...

On Sunday, both Annie and I presented Christ Church Likas to the congregation at St.Matthew's Walsall and it was indeed a privilege to share with them of what we are doing in Likas, KK. In the evening, we got the chance to be with the Asian congregation at St.Matthew for dinner and we had Nasi Beriani (not sure how to spell it really... brain jammed as usual after this hour) which Annie longing for days.....

Today, the Mission Conference at The Hayes, Swanwick has started and believe it or not, we have our own room with bathroom attached (it makes me feels like I am at a university campus's accommodation, seriously) and how wonderful, I also got myself a double bed. So, I am seriously delighted... hahahaha.. We will be here for another 2 days... and so, as the others are enjoying their Jazz music at the main hall, I come back to my room straight away ... trying to get myself clean up and sleep. Obviously, I am exhausted as I haven't been able to sleep well since I arrive in England. Sounds pathetic, didn't I? hmm.. anyway...

For your information... I seriously can't wait to go home... don't ask me why... it's complicated really... althought i love this place. IT's probably my 'space' issue that caught up with me... anyway... I have started my count down... 9 more days to go.

Oh dear...

Yes... oh dear... this is the not good... after a 5 hours lunch this afternoon, I am feeling a bit 'out'... I am feeling a bit sick ... had a bit of sore throat and feeling dizzy... and the family who invited us there, refused to send us home earlier as they had prepare the afternoon tea for us either. So, yes.. we stayed there the whole afternoon and only got back by 5:30pm. The worse thing was, we have to rush to get out by 6:30pm for another dinner and so, yes... I ended up, only taken a 30 minutes' nap instead of my shower.
Today was kind of 'free' except the 30 minutes of church function in the morning, we got the rest of our morning free until the lunch. So, both Annie and I walked around the town, and helped someone to get what was needed too. So, yes... that's today.
I am now also feeling a bit 'out'.... so, I shall leave and go to sleep after my medicine now. Yawn.... !!!!

Resting Day!

With what happen last night, our host was still trying to sort out things which they managed to got it done after our prayer meeting at St. Matthew's Church this morning. It last however, for hours... until Annie have to work out with Soduko and I was walking around.... and only taken our lunch after 1pm. Thereafter, we went the St.Matthew Centre to have a look of what the youth worker's ministry is like. It's interesting to know that they set up facilities just to make sure that young people who has no place to go (instead of wandering around the street), will normally come to have some games in the center. We manage of course to talk and play with some. It's quite funny thought where one of them thought I am too a student and when he found out that I am a lawyer, he ran away.... yes, those are the people that they are trying to reach out and most of them, are non-christian.
In the evening, we went to meet the priest who is incharge of this sunday's service and to get the service organised. we are of course asked to give a brief introduction of our church, Christ Church Likas. So, Annie is busy with it now while I am trying to prepare my heart for it. Ghoosh, you know how much I don't like sharing... hahahahahahahah....
Well, seriously... I am connected to someone's line now and I am using it ... so, I better stop that now.

What a day!

02.07.2008

Due to several of reasons, we depart from my aunt’s place, Bury St. Edmunds at 4:45am this morning. We drove all the way from Bury St. Edmunds to Walsall thinking we might need about 3 hours to get there as we drove about 3 ½ hours to get to Bury St. Edmunds from Nottingham. However, we reached Walsall at 7am and by the time we found a petrol station to fill up the tank, we called our host to let them know that we have arrived. Our host only manage to come and pick us up from the Car centre about 9am. Obviously, we not only woke them up, but we have ‘spoiled’ their normal routine.

Our host is a very lovely couple, thought old in age, but they are friendly and we were told, everybody in Walsall knows them. When our host brought us back to their house this morning, we were both shocked by the beauty and the size of the house. It’s a huge house they got and behind the huge house, it’s a huge garden. The garden is well maintained with lots of lovely, beauty flowers and plants. We were amazed by the scenery and seriously, I wasn’t able to believe my eyes for at least 3 seconds.

After our breakfast, we brought our luggage to our room and when I first entered the room, I was shock as we not only have our bedroom, but also changing room and a bath room as big as our room. Once we got ourselves ready, our host brought us to the church to meet with the rector and some other church members. We also joined them for the inter-church prayer meeting where I met with the new rector of St.James, Brownhill. We also learned that, our host was a surgeon or rather, a specialist (gynaecology).

After the prayer meeting, we went for lunch at The Vine Restaurant, where we were being introduced of the work there at The Vine. The Vine provides services for the young people/youth that are not accepted by any school, community, etc. At The Vine, young people who want a second chance will come and study, learn all sorts of skills, etc. Just for them to get at least a certificate for them to move on.

As we woke up very early in the morning, we then gone back home for a rest. After the rest, we joined the Deanary’s service at All Saints, Buxwach, which is about 15 minutes from where we live. We had lots of fun at the church and after the church where we had our ‘dinner’ (the typical after church, English buffet dinner). Just before we left, our host realised she might have lost her handbag as she placed it there for a little while when she went to pick up some food. It’s a terrible incident, especially to the old couple. I am sure this kind of incident rarely happens to them and they were lost for a while of what to do next. We both ended up have to guide them through by asking if they have called the phone company to cancel the line, whether they have called the banks, etc and whether they want to lodge police report, etc. Etc. The saddest thing was, she lost her only photograph that’s taken with her mother and her grandfather and also her sisters and brothers. I can see how sad she was as she didn’t really bother much about reporting the lost but she wanted so much to get the photograph back instead.

Seeing them in their helpless stage and we couldn’t do much to help, we went to bed instead.

Just for your information, these few days.... has just reminded me on things, so much things, incidents, etc. Etc. That happen years ago... which I am quite sure now that, it has really hold me from ‘growing’. Sad to say, the impact was so ‘strong’ that I choose not to remember them for at least past 7 years. Things that are so familiar to me... somehow reminded me that, it was about 7 to 9 years ago... and it’s not ‘yesterday’ anymore although it seems just like yesterday. It’s hard, really hard to describe further of how and what I am feeling now. The feeling is seriously ‘weird’. This place ... like it’s my home... a place where I am so familiar with, which I have not come back for a long time and finally when I come back, and it didn’t change much, and it is just like... I am back to ‘home town’ kind of feeling, if you got what I mean.

Oh well, I still have 3 friends has yet to meet up with and I MUST meet them soon. So, yes, I hope I’ll be free this Saturday afternoon and evening, so that I can meet them up in the afternoon at least. On Sunday, I will have to do a sharing about our church, Christ Church and our vision. Next Monday, we will be at Swanwick for 3 days for the mission conference and I am sure by then, another week will have gone past. So, yes... soon, I will have to ‘return’ to the reality and faces the cases lies on my table and mind.

My nose irritates me a lot these few days. So, do pray for me on that. Apart from that, let’s pray that the theft or robber will not enter this house tonight or anytime before they have change the lock as they house keys are in the handbag and also, a diary consists lots of details are also kept in the handbag. Goodness... guess we really spoiled their normal routine, didn’t we?

Well, time to bed...

Holiday ended!

We reached Bury St Edmunds, where my aunt is staying... since Saturday and we have been here until this evening. We are leaving my aunt's place tomorrow morning at 5am as we need to be at Walsall by 9am the latest. Besides not being able to visit Birmingham, Annie's Godmother and my university friends, we had lots of fun... visiting Bury St. Edmunds, Cambridge, and other places.... we had fun... !!!!
So, yes.. if you don't get any update from me after today, it must be Walsall or our host's place do not have any internet access. hahahaha...
Well, 2 more weeks... ghoosh... seriously... i wanna go home.......!!!!!!!
