I told myself that if I manage to took over this firm for a year without any problem financially, I will continue to operate this firm, until the day God directs me to do other thing. Once again, God has a funny way of arranging things. I seriously have no idea why God wants me to be a lawyer. A SPM result that's good enough for me to study STPM. A STPM result that's good enough for me to read law in the uni. For dunno what reason, because I asked God to give me 3 years in England, He did. Graduated, He moves me back to Malaysia. Further, He closed all the doors in KL and pushed me back here in Sabah. For many times, I wanted to settle in Tawau, God somehow tells me KK is the place He wants me to be at. From the moment I want to gave up my law profession, God somehow let KT passed the whole firm to me. From a test, now somehow, it has became the pillar of my life. I seriously have no idea what He wants from me. A lawyer. Hmm... He has called so many lawyers. Why me? Why another lawyer in KK? Most importantly, He has taken every single person including all my friends from me in KK. Is He trying to make life better or worse for me? I remember telling someone that what they were doing to me, was to destroy me and being used by a devil to destroy me was very wrong. But that's exactly what devil is capable of. Using those whom are the closest to you to destroy you. By God's grace and power vested in me, I took the very cruel step towards them and myself, i.e. to cut off from them, i.e. to cut off from the devil. And it's amazing because CCL or certain church and priest and christian are included. Tell me if devil is not capable to using those to destroy us? Of course they are capable. But to cut ourselves from them to avoid being destroyed by devil? It's a huge lesson and step to be taken. I hate saying to those I love that they are used by the devil. But they were and are just too blind to see the 'truth'. Whether I am having a better relationship with God in this or not, I am sure you have the answer. It's another level of closeness with God in fighting all these. Listening to God is the only way out. To be able to distinguish who is God and who is Devil, which voice is God's and which is not... it's just a breakthrough in my life.
God has promise a life that's full. Yes. I was and am still holding that promise He gave me. God has blessed me ever since the day I gave up everyone and everybody. I guess, Vanessa was the hardest to gave up on because she's been a too wonderful sister to me. But I have to. I wasn't given a choice. She's the last one I de-friended with. And life's good ever since, more than I can imagine.
God promised me that He will prosper me when these are over. Indeed, He has been blessing me until today. My income last month was RM2,888.00 But somehow, I still have extra in my office bank account, more than enough for the next 1 or 2 months. I have conquered weekends in KK. God somehow arranged my every weekend well. I don't know how to describe. My life has been busy with works, with people that I only say hi and bye with, tv, relaxation, etc. etc. I just have nothing to complain about.
I realised I really know a lots of hi bye friends. In Court, everywhere I go, even the bookstore lady or people I met for the past year, has been really nice to me. I.e. I said, even those I do not know their names of, they do say 'hi' to me. haha...
Anyway, I am putting those devils works behind now and holding on to His promise.

Breaking point!
I thought i was the only one who had reached my breaking point when my dad had suffered stroke. But that's not the case. Some, taking it as a normal thing because besides hearing it from me, they do not know my dad well. And most of those i know in KK are from this category. Some, do know my dad very well and what happen to him, has somehow affected them. Last week, i had someone who came all the way from New Zealand to spent 15 mins with my dad. Someone who was here and migrated. He just heard the news from his son who is in Hong Kong, whom were one i met up with on my last trip.
Last night, i went out with one of my best friend who came back from England and she's probably the first few whom i told about what had happen to me last year. Not all of course. But from facebook status, she does realised i am not only depressed, but was also met the breaking point which she once suffered. While i was sending her home, she told me she just remember i was the one who brought her to church. That was 13 years old. Along the way, her life has not been easy. With the demise of her dad while she was in England on her 3rd year, with the demise of her youngest sister few years later, with nearly being adjudicated bankrupt, with a sister who committed suicide.... she believed in Christ and we have been around her all these years. Suddenly she told yesterday there's twice these few years that she refuse or angry with God. She couldn't understand or find a reason to believe Him anymore. once, when her best friend suffered stroke 3 years back and died. and now, my dad.... someone who served Him all of His life, who is also suffering from all these pain and suffering. And so, when the church asked her to be a cell leader, she's very confuse and she is still confuse. She asked, if that's what i am feeling...
Seriously, i don't know! Is it God or the church? Both are not making sense. Especially with those hypocrites in the church. i seriously don't know.... all i know was, i've met the breaking point and i have been broken because i didn't and still don't have any support.
i still think everyone eventually will reach that point at least once in their life time. When this came from this friend of mine who had gone through so much, i know how much my dad's incident had impacted her. However, i am glad she is still attending church and serving God in this new place she just moved to.

The New Rules of Court 2012
Starting from 1 August 2012, there's no more The Rules of High Court 1980 and The Subordinate Court Rules 1980. It's replaced by The Rules of Court 2012. After studying, using, memorising the Rules since came back in 2000, somehow, the replacement is making me very confuse into the Rules in Court these days. One of the significant change of the Rules is that there is no more application in High Court make by Summons In Chambers (SIC). I was first taught about using SIC for all my High Court interlocutory proceeding by a senior and I remember he reminds me that as long as it's a High Court matter and you need to apply for some interlocutory proceeding, you need to put in SIC instead of Notice of Application (NOA). But there won't be any SIC now.
I somehow, made a mistake in one of my application in Court and I need to file in an SIC in Court for amendment which the hearing was fixed on the 1 August 2012. So, in a way, I managed to file the last SIC on the 30th July 2012 and get the last SIC heard on the 1 August 2012 at Tawau High Court. Proud to realised that I am one of those who survives SIC era and ended it when the new Rules of Court 2012 is implemented. No more SIC anymore. No more drafting of it and no more filing of SIC anymore.
And the New Rules has made me filed my first Magistrates' Court Writ on the 3rd August 2012 too. Messed it up with the fees and the e-filing, but i survived with the new Writ. Yes. No more Summons.... it's just WRIT, in Magistrates' Court and Sessions Court.
I do feel like I am once again a newly graduated law student and learning new Rules of Court. hahaha...I guess, somehow this keeps me from being a litigation lawyer still, though I am sucks as one.
