Job/Office/Work?

As I put the sign "@ office" on my MSN this moring upon arrival at the office, many asked me why didn't I just rest at home. I wish too, but in order for me to have better sleeps, trust me I better be here today to finish off things and file my documents before the deadline, i.e. next Monday. Seriously, I realise how much works I need to do this weeks in order for me to have a good sleep. I didn't had enough sleeps since Monday, after I came back to office, after realising how many works I need to finish before this weekend. Trust me, I have been sitting in my office for since morning and I only eaten 2 biscuits to fill my hunger... and I just got everything done before my friend is coming to fetch me at 3pm later. I wonder now, how many more works to rush... I do have another file here yet to be started because I am still waiting for some documents from another law firm. Hence, this will have to hold until either Friday or next Monday. Meanwhile, I really hope no more 'sudden' matter....
My ankle seems 'loose' today. Hence, I walk very slowly. It could be due by the air conditioning as it's super cold here in my office. Anyhow, I walked to the wash room just now and it seems fine... because no aircon? Hmm... oh well... hahaha...
I am still praying hard that I will get speedy recovery. I seriously don't like to trouble people to fetch me, send me, take care of me. I suddenly feel so 'useless'... and hai... I just hate the feeling of putting troubles and inconveninces to others... I wonder if I have the choice now... (think no huh?) ...

3rd Day!

It's my third day after the operation and looks like I am doing well as I can slowly walk without of the clutches. Oh well, even that, I don't want to give too much pressure on it, hence, my left leg is still supporting my right leg more if I am to walk around. Oh well, I must add, I have been sitting down since I reached home after church at 12pm until now... (4:44pm). hahaha... I am thinking of ironing some clothes later... then I think it is time for me to take my shower... and if it is as planned, my friends will be coming over soon... hehe... !!!
I guess I looked forward to get out from my apartment so much last night that I didn't get enough sleep and only woke up at around 8:20am this morning even thoughy my alarm sounded around 7:20am this morning. hahaha... well, I am glad that I manage to went out for a while this morning... guess another day or two staying in this apartment will really make me mad soon...
Hence, upon reaching home, I started to look at my diary and started to work on a few works.. so that I don't have to spend too much time in the office on Tuesday. Hmm...
Alright ... it's my 3rd day... and I promise myself that I will only go back to office on Tuesday... although I am so tempted to go back to office tomorrow morning... workaholic? Hmm... hope you don't realise I am one until now... !

The Operation !

Many has asked about the procedure of the operation I went through 2 days ago. Seriously, I remember only a few steps, and to think back, it's really an experience where not many the 'chance' to experience. I was told the operation will start at 3:30pm but at around 2:10pm, 2 nurses pushed the bed to my room and asked me to get changed. I thought it's still early hence I didn't get changed and I wasn't put the name tag on my right hand also. Well, the anaesthetics' doc came in and told me, it is better for me to go for the general anaesthetics because otherwise, half of my body will be numb for 10 hours. I thought 10 hours will be a bit too much, hence, agreed to the general anaesthetics. I was pushed then from my room to another floor, then to the operation theater where my doctor and the anaesthetics doc were there waiting. It seems like, they have preapred themselves there. By the time I moved to the operation bed, many nurses came around me and a few was sorting out my right hand and a few on my left and I was then being put to sleep... with just a few seconds after the oxygen mask was put on my mouth and nose. By the time I was conscious enough to heard some noises (nurses were chatting while they were moving me around), I felt the pain on my right leg... and only then I realise, everything was done. I knew I was being put back to my bed at room 506 and when I was open up my eyes and looked at the clock stating 4:10pm, I saw 3 persons came into my room. My cousin's wife, my brother and a dear friend. It's such a comfort and relief seeing familiar faces. I weren't that awake yet but they have started to make sure I get up, hence, they started to talk to me, etc while my brother went out and told the nurse that I woke up, etc. Soon enough, the nurse and the doctor came in and check on me. Doctor came to check and asked ice pack to be put on my leg and to remove the 'glucose' and he told me, I can start eating anything I want. I don't however have any appetite at all. Well, at around 5pm, guess everyone finished work. I was then being visited by many... feeling so warmth... hahaha.. well, ... but I guess it's the anaesthetics effect, I felt so tired and my throat started to feel sore (guess it's due to the oxygen mask). Hence, I went to sleep until the next morning when the nurse came in to check on me. After my brother prayed for me and I am sure due to many prayers of yours, the pain that I was feeling gone ... at around 7am... (I think I was being given pain killer as well, not so sure though) Guess it's because I was too quiet throughout the whole night ... which caused about 4 nurses came in at 7pm to check on me. I asked one of the senior nurse when can I be discharged today. She said, mostly around noon time.
Doctor came around 8:30am. Upon checking me, he's quite convince that I am well enough to go home. Hence, he said the ice pack can be removed and I can start walking around with clutches. But the nurses didn't come until I pressed the button to ask them to come (I wanted to go to toilet urgently then, hahaha.. ) and there, I was given the clutches and I was told how to use it and how to move around. The doctor also suggested that i must put a little bit weight on it, and hence, I did and ... wow.. no pain... but well, I seriously only put a LITTLE bit of weight on it. hahaha... so, when the doctor came in again to check on me and asked if I put a little bit of weight on it, I told him I did, but no pain... then he said, I can put a little more weight on it if there's no pain. Hmm... well, everything seems so well... especially with the help and care of JHS who came to help me to discharge, to send me home, to buy me lunch, to bring me up to my apartment and to clean my apartment... so that I can reach out to things easily. How nice... !!! hehe...
Well, there I am... at home, resting now... I can put on a little more weight on my ankle today... which is good... !!! Hopefully, I can walk without cluthes in 2 or 3 days time...
