I am not saying it's wrong... I am saying... it could somehow bring the following consequences to yourself and others when it is practiced: -
(a) Inconvenient to others;
(b) Sacrifies others;
(c) Upset others;
(d) Unhappiness to others;
(e) Wasting of time;
(f) Possible hatred;
(g) Hurt (physical and emotional and relationship);
(h) Break down of relationship;
(i) Not being able to love;
(j) Not being able to be loved in future;
(k) Anger;
(l) Giving up;
(m) Acted violently;
(n) Insanity;
(o) Stress;
(p) .
(q) .
(r) .
The list goes on. However, the one acted selfishly towards another, will not know how much the other party is suffering. Generally, they will be happy as long as they manage to voice out what they want and the consequences, they got what they want. Others' feeling? Come on... not my matter. That's what the selfish one will say. If the other party reacted either one as listed in the list, it's because they do not know how to handle their emotions, they are not mature enough and so on.... that's what the selfish one opined. And yes... normally ... somehow, the selfish one will have the thinking that whatever they do, is certainly 100% correct. If other is not agreeable to whatever they says, they are wrong and they gets the sour face, anger, or whatever from the other selfish one.
I am not asking for more. All I am asking is, try... at least try... to put yourself into other's shoes and be a little bit considerate. Be it you are right, you think you are right or you are VERY right... try to find the 'balance point'. Would you?

I think it's very subjective. Selfish by one person could mean that the person has a distinct character, isn't it?? :D
