I am home!

It was a terrible few weeks I had in KK.... and finally, being able to get away first from the terrible client of mine (where my boss is currently handling him instead, which I am really thankful for), I finally entered into my home in Tawau this afternoon with my mom cooked me a 'tong sui' which is good for my throat. I am sure you understand what that's mean... when you are exhausted and really needed some 'pat of your shoulder' - regardless of what kind it is... hahahaha... I am just glad I am home and until now, no one disturb me so far... no phone call (or may be I didn't hear it as I left it in my room), no 'bomb' (emails), etc. etc. I hope tomorrow case will go smoothly and I get another day of rest before I go back to KK and face the biggest challenge in my life next week.

Over the weekend

A friend said, I am better to be with when I have no voice. At least I won’t make lots of noises. Well, I personally think so too… that everybody will likes me when I have no voice (except my clients). I guess I am never a good listener. Be it it’s caused by nobody listen to me ever before nor, people think I don’t need someone to listen to me, I never get the chance. Hence, sometimes, I just cannot resist to give ‘fed back’ when they start their talking. Oh well, unnecessarily, I have created an ‘issue’.

I seriously do not know what I need most of the time. As much as people doesn’t want me to speak (expect my clients), I guess I too need a bit of moment of silence sometimes. Privacy some called it…. I called it… a private moment/a moment for myself. I guess we all need that, don’t we?

3 days of not being able to speak wasn’t really torturing except, of course I didn’t manage to get things organized in the new place better if not because of some helping ‘voice’. Well, the whole moving process was great. 4 women and 1 man, we managed to get 85% of the things moved to the new place within 2 ½ hours. They are really cool…. Thanks mates! Oh well, after this place and if I need to move again, I guess I will consider hiring a proper, but not SUXXLIXXCK.

I was telling my friend about me feel so ‘tired’ of moving around and her respond was “you should have known this since you have been moving quite often for the past 12 years. True enough, moving from home to KL, from KL to Bristol UK, moved at least 6 times in Bristol UK, from UK moved back to KL, moved 2 times in KL after that, from KL to Tawau (for 5 months), moved back to KL for another 6 months, then from KL to KK, now… again, moving from Beverly Hills Apartment KK to Elopura Apartment. I consider that a lot of moving. Don’t you think? I guess that’s where the question of “home” ends up and remain stuck in me. Looks like I can never find a place to settle down huh?

My mom will tell you, that’s a typical me… she always reminds me not to be like my youngest uncle, especially in my job. So, I promise myself not to change job as often as I change my accommodation. Do remind me sometimes.

After the trip!

Immediately after the trip, I fall sick. First with fever, then flu, now... I am losing my voice. I have lost 85% of my voice since morning. My colleaguew are laughing at me and at the same time amaze of how much sounds I can lost since morning until now. One of them are trying to get me medicine now... at the pharmacy while I am waiting for my client to come up soon. Otherwise, I would have gone for the doctor by now. I stepped into my car and client called. Errr... and hence, I am stuck here in the office... OH NO... phone rang... wait...
[1 minute later]
ERrrgg... I picked up the call, i used all my strength to make sure the other party can hear me. Glad that it's not a client or any of my partners' client. Otherwise, I will again have to dig out files and explain things... I hate losing my voice. NOt so sure what caused it though... as the sore throat is basically non-existing. Hmm... Oh well.... thank God I didn't sing last night in the cell meeting. Otherwise, things will be serious by now. Well, well, well.. a client is coming up soon. I am sure I need to explain to her the details before she sign the documents... so... ??????

I am suppose to pick up the new apartment keys by now, but I am still stuck in the office. Hate it.... is she coming up NOW?????????

OH YA... guess what? after the trip, both my partners have gone outstation. Ya.. I am alone looking after the firm myself. :(
