Friends and relatives have been telling me, I got 3 in 1 celebration this year on the 1st day of CNY. Oh well, it's special indeed. Someone commented that, the Valentine's day and 1st day of Chinese New Year only happens once every 59 years. I am sure, quite sure that I won't be celebrating the same 3 in 1 occassion and celebration again. hahaha...
Well, it's a special day indeed and obviously, some people do remember my birthday, some do not. Some choose to celebrate with me before and also after the actual day instead as everybody has to go back home for dinner on 14th of February 2010. A friend had lots of fun counting how many greeting she received on her birthday and I found her 'counting process' fun too and so, I did ever thought of doing the same thing. But, I gave up after the eve of Chinese New Year as many has greets me as we have family reunion dinner, and we had video conference with relatives over at Australia and elsewhere, apart from Tawau. It is funny that I stop counting almost immediately as it has become impossible to count.
Oh well, after the church service, I sent my parents home while I went to pick AC up from the Rectory to send her to airport. Just before I park my car, IC called, asked where I was and when I arrived the entrace of the rectory, I saw about 8 youth lined up, greeted me and while I walk inside, they start signing a birthday song to me. Goodness, ... so embracing... as Rev. Victor Leong and family and, AD John and all were just there, laughing and greeted me.
Oh well, it's a great birthday. A birthday I celebrated with mandarin oranges then cakes. hahaha.... oh well, I went out for a movie with friends. I received a cake on the 15th evening though... my favourite bitter sweet chocolate cake. What can I say? For the first time, I ate so much from a big cake. hahahahaha..
Well, seriously... besides it's 3 in 1 occasions, or 4 in 1, it's just any other ordinary day...
