Dilemma!

Many says being the youngest in the family, you have all the privileges and more, if you are a girl. Well, my experiences tells me, that's not true at all. Being the youngest in the family, I always get bullied and at all time, I am being misunderstood. Hmm... may be only in my family? Since both my parents and my brother are the eldest in their family and hence, they have not being able to understand what the younger sibilings think? Whatever...
First it was the court which upset my schedule and then, my dear brother. Well, they always think and my parents think the same too, that my brother has a very busy schedule which we all needs to suits into his schedule when it come for a time of gathering. Well, obvioiusly I have no 'excuses' like a family, my husband's schedule, my children's schedule to be used on requested for the 'best' time, but... I have no idea why is his schedule is harder and complicated then mine.
See, since the day I realise I need a nice diary in hand to motivate me to work harder, I got myself a new one last Saturday. I was transferring all the dates into this new one. Even though this is the 2nd/3rd week of January, I took about 2 hours to get all the informations transferred to the new one. It's say to be MY diary but in actual fact, it just a diary with all the court dates on - dates fixed by the Courts, according to THEIR diaries. Being practised in Kuala Lumpur for a few years, I used to the methods of asking the Court to fix a date of my availability (no, you can't do that in KL anymore I heard) because generally, one firm will have 20 cases a day and it's just too 'risky' to get another case fixed on the same date. I seldom ask the Court to give me a date which suits me because I know how many cases a court has in one day, unless it is necessary. I remember being scolded by a High Court Judge last year when I told him, I have another matter on the same day. I remember a case of mine was struck out because I wasn't present for it and I am still fearing that I will be sued, etc. Oh well... to many, it's just a date, it's just work. Ask someone in the office to cover it. Well, ... if that's as easy... I wouldn't have the problem now when my schedule is upset.
Well, what I have to tell you is, I was 'summoned' to go home for a longer period of time then weekend this coming weekend, simply because my sister in law have to come to KK for some discussion between 14 to 18th. Four days of discussion...? No other time can be allocated? Well, I give them the benefit of doubt, that there's no other time but they do have to understand I too have a packed schedule too. It's not about 'arranging' like what they did and I am off from work. So, yes... I am still thinking if I should come back after the weekend and then go back again on the 20th, to just celebrate my nephew's birthday. Oh yes... they requested me to be there for his son's birthday and also because my dad want a family photo. So... !!! Now, it all depends on whether the agent of this client will be able to provide for me the documents I requested by this week. If no, ... hmm... I don't know... !

Moral from FarmTown

Oh well, many do know I am playing farm town and it's since the invitation of SC, I started to play Farm Town (FT). As SC is doing account, I follow her advise in this game. We usually planted seeds that will ready to be harvest after 3 to 4 days (simply because we are all very busy with works and no time for FT) and the 'coins' or money which we will receive, is greater than those which will be ready to harvest for 1 days or less then a day. The system of FT changed a few times. Intially, you get points for harvesting and also plowing, but FT improved and now, you can only earn points by plowing and planting, but not harvesting. I have been playing for almost a year now and throughout, with whatever changes they implemented, nothing affect me so much.
Only a few months back, I realise a few more friends also playing FT and they are trying to overtake me. Well, I must again stress this, that because I have been planting seeds that only ready for harvest for 3 to 4 days, I earn a lot, but my point (lack of harvest and plowing) is not as much as my friends. I struggled for a while, thinking that I only have $700,000.00, but later, when I checked again, it's $7,000,000.00 instead. I moved forward (level) quite fast and I am now, reaching the final level and I still have about $3,000.000,00 after all the lands, houses, luxuries and I have purchased.
The Moral of this Farm Town is that, we should lives like this, hard working, struggled in the beginning, and after that, even with 'changes' around, obstacles in life, etc, we will get through it.
Unlike some of my friends, I realised they have yet to buy their second piece of land until now, simply because they are not focusing correctly in the beginning. Yes, they overtook me, but that's for a while.
So, I must remind myself these days, that even I have to struggle hard now and wait for the good days to come, I must still work and continue to work and work and work... and when I got through this, everything will be fine until the end.

10 years ....

I was sick on new year eve and so as it in the year 2000. Oh well, at least, I managed to celebrate the new year in 2000 and then went to bed and slept through until my housemate knocked my door and woke me up. This year, same thing happen and I woke up cranky instead. Oh well, that's me, isn't it?
I was talking to a friend whom I know when I first came back from England. It's a friend of a friend call S and this friend is call LW. I was chatting with LW about a case which I intended to pass to her earlier on and the conversation somehow went to a news LW received about a friend, who is a Sabahan and who happen, it's someone I know. And we somehow admitted that time flies.. and the conversation slowly gone into the house we used to stay at SS3, Seapark, Petaling Jaya. Oh well, she told me the owner intend to sell the house (bangalow with nice pond and garden) and a banner is placed outside the house, calling for purchaser. I was curious to find out somehow, how much that house worth, not because of it's size, but because it is a haunted house. hahaha... yes. I almost forgot, but I am sure people whom know me and where I was staying then, do know which house I am talking about, the "haunted house".
I ended up staying at this haunted house because a friend's husband (boyfriend then) was staying there and he just got a job in Singapore and so, he thought it would be nice for me to stay there, after all, its location is quite strategic and it's cheap. I was introduced to the chief tenant, Anne on my arrival and she has taken my number and she off for work. With nothing to do, I walked my way to SS2, where all my cousins and friends were staying. It's very unusual that I received call at about 7pm from Anne asking me if I will go home that night and what time I will be going home that night. Oh well, my friend then has to tell me that house is haunted. With no fear at all, I didn't bother much. I stayed there a few years. hahaha...
No. I have not seen anything nor hear anything. But my housemates did. My my mother and my brother who came and visit me, said they did feel something too. Oh well, as I was chatting with LW on this matter, she too recalled a few incidents of the existing of the 'ghost' in that house.
But, that's about 10 years ago. Can you believe it? It's already 10 years ago... 10 years ago, I just came back from England, just about to start working at Rockwills Corporation Sdn Bhd. and a legal firms. Wow, and until now, I have been working with at least 4 legal firms now... time flies indeed and I can't think of anything that I can really proud of. Hmm... it's a pretty bad feelings huh?
Oh well, but it does shows God's faithfulness. He sustained me for years... unbelieable! I am still alive!
