Judging!

I am not writing this because I am pointing my finger on certain people and starting to judge them or ... I am also not writing this to give myself a reason to judge others. The bible states clearly that, we shouldn't judge. It's easy to say then done ... almost everyday, I am judging people. It's kind of a 'natural' things to do on daily basis. AAaaahhh..... before you start to judge me, may be you should check on yourself if you are also the same as me...
Most of us, we judge a person based on their outlook appearance. Some of us... we can figure out just fine that this so and so is from a wealthy family because she is carrying this branded and limited edition handbag. Some of us can judge a person by saying he/she is from a decent family background from the way he/she talks, and/or from the way he/she walk, the way he/she wears. I don't know about you. Some times, we are just wrong in all those 'judgement' of ours.
I told a friend yesterday that I have 100% confidence on my car... because I do not really afraid that it will get stolen or I being robed. Simple... because even the thieft judged people by how he/she is wearning, what sorts of car he/she is driving to determine whether the person worth his/her life to rob or not.
We judged and most of the time, we judged wrongly. We always thought a person who is a graduates, will think and act like a graduates, but we are wrong. We thought a doctor is smart and intelligent. That might not be too. We thought a lawyer always earn a lot of money and I can tell you I will declare bankrupt soon.... and we thought the higher educated we are, our brain will function to a right direction , but seriously.... I DO NOT THINK SO.
During my interview with some people who came in to look for job, I don't bother much about how much they study and how well they did in their examinations... I will normally ask them only one question. That is, what can he/she does to impress me. As long as the person can impress me with his/her ability to learn more, humble and teachable heart... and willing to sacrifies some time to do extra works, I don't care if he/she is a brilliant student in school or not.
Seriously, I don't like people always think they are more 'highly' when they are doctor, specialist and a successful accountant, businessman. SO what if you are those but your thinking is like a primary school boy? See... don't get me wrong... I am not judging here... I am speaking the fact. I must say, I am disappointed... very disappointed with some people's 'brain'. A brain that was supposed to have gone through years of training to increase to a higher and better 'power of thinking' and yet... it's still in primary school level. hai...
I just judged didn't i? hahaha... see what I meant?

2cm

I am not sure sure what 2cm means to you. Is it high? low? wide? narrow? big? small? Well... I went to get my partial custom made ankle support from the KK Prosthetic Center and when the prosthetist saw my working shoes... he looked at me and asked if I ever have plan to buy a new pair of shoes. Well, I said I did ... just want to know if the ankle support can fit into any of the shoes first. Well, he then explained that my shoes should be as even as possible and so I asked him if I shouldn't wear shoes with heels at all and he told me, "No. You can wear... but best not exceeding 2cm". My immediate respond towards his statement was "isn't that means, NO?" hahaha... well, of course I didn't speak it out. Otherwise, I think he will scold me again for even thinking of wearning something with heels.
I thought the ankle support will fit into any of the shoes, but ... it didn't. I went home tried with my walking shoes, it didn't fit. So, I went to see them again this morning with my walking shoes and they manage to fit the support into my shoes. It's good really.... just that I wonder... what can I use when I am not wearing a shoes... Hmm... Oh well... guess what? He again mentioned, that I should get another pair of working shoes... goodness!!!! The next time I go, I better show him my NEW shoes...
So... 2cm? Any court/covered shoes with heels not exceeding 2cm? Oh no... and I have to search for one soon??????? OH NO!!!!

Flatfoot?

I went for a doctor review about my operated ankle last saturday. It's suppose to be a review but as I feel the same pain came back when my wounds are almost fully recovered, I told the doctor and after checking, he think I have a problem with my ankle. He think the only thing that will help me to feel less or even no pain is to get a ankle support (Custom made). Hence, he suggested I first get my foot scanned first at KK Prosthetic.

After I left the hospital, I went to KK Prosthetic, to get a scan done on both of my feet. It only took me 10 minutes to get the scan done and while a Prosthetist has taken another 15 minutes to check through my ankle after he has seen the computerize report. Well, he looked at me with a serious face and asked if I know what happen to my feet. Oh well... the computerize report says: Defective medial longitudinal arch or severe flatfoot. He asked if I know I have a flatfoot. I did actually as the physiotheraphist did told me before, so I answered him, I know. But he look at me and asked if I realise it is quite severe. I said I don't. He then told me, it has somehow caused my other feet to be in trouble too. Hmm...

He further commented that, luckily I am not a very fat person, otherwise, I would not be able to walk even now. So, he did suggest that I get a custom made ankle support. He then suggested I get the cheapest one (RM650) instead of those fully custom made (in accordance to the structure of your feet). Oh well... all that's in my mind was... (do I have any other choice). Apparently.... I was told also by the doctor, the physiotheraphist and this Prosthetist that.... NO OTHER OPTION IS AVAILABLE.

Hmm... well... *sob sob* I have a flatfoot!!!!
