Satisfied...

I know, I know.... You will surely said I am crazy again... but this is the fact. I just love having works to do in the office. I felt so satisfied today after work. After all the works and rushing, I still manage to leave the office at 6:15pm.
Well, my boss called me to his office yesterday afternoon telling me that I need to take up all the foreclosure files starting next month. However, as I am always handling the Civil Action files, I have very limited knowledge on the foreclosure files. So, he was asking me to learn it from his secretary who just tendered her resignation 2 days ago and will be leaving end of next month.
Therefore, after my court duty this morning and done some of my own works, I went to her and asked her start teaching me. She then gave me almost all the works. If you saw how many files she gave me, I am sure you will tell me that you can't finish it by today. It's about 40 to 50 files. On top of that, I do have my own files to be done by today. All over a sudden, my empty cubicle was full with all files. I start doing those files since 11:20am. At 2:30pm, I was assigned a very important task. To file in an application in the High Court to intervene a case. I need to get that hearing to be heard today if possible. So, I went and waited to the Senior Assistant Registrar to see me. I managed to talk to her, but she said she won't hear the matter until that particular case's hearing date. So, no choice, I have to go back to court to collect the documents I filed in on Monday. When I returned to the office, it's 3:40pm. I start doing all my works again and when I finished, I look at the clock and it is 6pm. I took another 15 minutes to relax and sort out some details, and I left the office.
It is such a tiring day, but it is fulfilling and satisfying. I can foresee that I can be more busy from now on, especially after my boss' secretary left, end of May.
Well, but when I thought of today... it's just so 'satifying'. hahahahahaha....

Difficult to satisfy!!!

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAD!!!! Yes.. it's my dad's birthday today (20.04.2006). hehehe....
These 2 days, after the scolding on Monday... I had a totally different experience. I spoke very little and even before I finish my submission, the judges can't wait to grant me what I asked for. I can't believe it.. It is so difficult to please the whole world. I certainly can't reach an agreement with the Monday's judge. She is too particular and she adjourned cases without good reason. I just can't understand if her 'scolding' is beneficial.
Well, some people think certain way is the most perfect way and they keep that from day one till they die. I actually call these kind of people not a perfectonist or a successful person, but a failure. They failed to see beyond what they are good at. They can't seems to appreciate others. They think their way is the best way and they think among all the 100 ways he/she has, everything is perfect... just because they are good in one area. I think this kind of arrogant actaully make them a failure. They failed to see God's creation. They failed to enjoy the creation and they failed to enjoy life to the fullest. They only worship themselves.
********************
Time flies and I cannot believe that I am finishing my 2nd month with this firm. I learned a lot during these 2 months and it's beneficial. A friend reminded me that life goes on and we should therefore moves on. I believe that's true either. A friend is asking me if I am interested to join her to open a firm in Sabah. I like the idea very much. Because at many times, after I have done something, a file, helped the firm to gain profits, but I am still getting the same amount of salary every month. The stress in KL doesn't worth the works... and I do have many friends asking me to help them with this and that but all that I can do is to pass the files to the firm and get NOTHING. So yes, obviously I am really considering it... !!!

Depressing day!!!

It was last Friday, just 5 minutes before everyone left the office that I was passed this file. I was very reluctant to go to the court this morning because 1. it is not my file. 2. it is a screw up file 3. the lawyer incharge is free today. Not that I want to disobey the instruction or anything like that, but I am really not comfortable of going. I do not have any explanation to the judge. However, as the file was assigned to me, I follow the instruction and try my luck. I wanted to spend time to read the file, but after yesterday’s incident in the church, I somehow felt so tired and didn’t managed to read the Statement of Claim. True enough, I was asked about the contain of it and I was scolded for not reading it. Well, it’s not this that I was scolded mainly. It’s mainly because I couldn’t explain why the case was adjourned to today. It’s a mistake done by my senior and that resulted the case was postponed to today. I couldn’t explain because I was not provided any information on that. Ended up, I was scolded terribly and almost everyone who knows me knew about what happen to me. What a day….!!!
Well, … for the whole day, I was being surprised by unexpected news and most of them are not encouraging. I guess we always have this kind of day once in a while. I just had one today and I hope tomorrow is better.
