Silly me...

Silly me.. silly me... hai... now I am suffering from the consequences!

Mentality? Attitude?

I have been trying very hard since 2 weeks ago to get this witness in KL to answer me with a few questions before I drawn up the witness statement for him to execute. However, he is a busy man... as he is the director of one company. Hence, not only I hardly get him but also I get a rather slow reply. A few days to reply me from a big company ... isn't a very good impression to me seriously. Oh well,... I finally got all the witness statements done up and I courier it to him for signing since he did not wanna receive my calls and talk to me personally, hence I didn't get the last question's answer before I sent the document over for signing. All court documents what we call, the cause papers, are to be in certain format and spacing in accordance to the Practice Direction given by the court. However, it seems like our Director here is more concern about the signing page is on the last page without any question on it, etc.. and hence, he gave instruction for his staff to call me just a moment ago asking if I can adjust the page in accordance to HIS own style and courier another 5 sets for him to execute. PLease.... i would have done it if that can be done. He must have thought I am what cap palang's solicitor who doesn't know what he is concern about...

The more one tried to act 'smartly', the more he shows his foolishless and ignorance of that matter. I tried to explain to the staff of course since she called. But her only reply was... "I don't know. My boss instruct me to tell you this. Please amend". OK OK OK... hence, I told her just about 4 minutes ago by an email that his request is being entertained and I will courier that to him tomorrow and tell her to courier back the 'wrong' copies back to me for record either. I hope he get the hint that those things are beyond my control... and it's not like HIS own company that I can do whatever I want, or HE wants....

Oh well... I am not sure if people do realise, we, the lawyer has very limited say on certain things.. it's all by the court. I have this church member always ask me why am I not being able to attend the Young Adult Camp in September. I think I have told him at least 5 times if not 10 that I have a court case fall on that date and I think they think we can just 'adjust' it whenever we can...

Some people... they have not been understanding... seriously, and I am getting frustrated by those kind of mentality and attitude.

I called TM this afternoon as I need internet connection for my research on Monday's trial. For your information, my internet line has been having problem for the past few weeks and we have called TM for at least 10 times if not 20 because it gets disconnected (system hang) at least once a day. And the personnel just told me, I cannot solve your problem for now. Please try that and call us if the system is hang again. WOW...isn't that 'convenient?' and before she hang up, she asked me if there's anything else she can do for me...I puzzled for a moment.. I told her she has not even manage to solve my problem. She then said... ya, but anything else? *faint* ... of course I said. NO. Goodness me... what happen to this earth????????

...4th year!

Just when I realise my holiday (harvest festival) is over.... I then realise, I have celebrated the 4th harvest festival in Sabah since I arrived here .... hence, my 3rd year at Kota Kinabalu has just ended and I am entering into the 4th year... wow... isnt' that fast????
