Workaholic?

OH NO... as I was working and working and working the whole afternoon and signing documents, checking, drafting... I really found that works can actually satisfied me very much even when I was depress, upset or happy. Works is what can really satisfy me. OH NO... !!!
All these while, nothing seems to be able to satisfy me. i.e. no desire whatsoever. However, I just found out that I really LOVE works and "busyness"...

Good experience!

I went to court for 3 matters this morning and after 2 matters were over, I was waiting for my turn for the 3rd one, my defendant came and I told him that I have my client's instruction to object his postponement, etc... and he seems OK to me then. But when I entered into the room for the Hearing, the Judge asked me what I want, I just proceed to ask for what I want ("A") but the defendant objected and he claimed that I obtained a judgment illegally and he want to lodge a police report against my firm. It was something I cannot handle because first, this is not my file, second, my instruction was clear, that's to get "A". As the judge also want me to give some explaination which is not within my knowledge, the matter was really out of my hand. I called the lawyer incharge and she was in Hulu Langat for some Land Enquiries, so I have no choice, but to call my boss. My boss asked me to show the judge something but I wasn't really sure what was that and therefore, he said he will meet me in court in 30 minutes time. What a good boss he is, he came and while he was perusing the file, the defendant started to accuse my boss for obtaining the judgment illegally and my boss stood up and scolded him outside the court room and that caused everyone looking at our direction. My boss avoid talking to him for a while and when we were infront of the judge, the argument continue. I was thinking then, ... "can I handle such a difficult defendant the next time I met a case like this"? Obviously, I wasn't ready for such situation yet.
After the matter, while my boss and I walked out the building, he reminded me something... that my senior boss can read my emails and she did commented my email infront of him. I was shocked, not because of the content of the emails I sent, but I was shock by the ethical or professional side of the action of the senior boss. I do not think she has the rights to hack in my computer and obtain my information. She is infringing my privacy and I am very very very uncomfortable with it now. Terrible firm? I guess every firm in KL is really terrible and unethical in some way... this, had turned my mind to think whether I should even consider to stay here for 1 year. I really have some reservation on this firm now....
... terrible ...

Suprise...!!!

I called my friend earlier to ask her what could happen to my connection and she said she was having dinner and therefore I said I will call her later. So, I asked my housemate to bring me the landline phone and while she was passing it to me, I realise the connection is ON. Hmm.. there it solved the 'problem'. So, althought I am very very very tired right now, I think it is really time to post something on my blog before everyone is asking me what happen. hahaha...
*****************
I was asked to attend an Auction Sales (properties) last saturday and I went because I never been to one of this (Sales) before and I think it would be nice to have such experience. I made myself there since 9:50am and was there until 1:15pm. I told my senior I have to go because in fact, I had an appointment with my cell leader at 11am. So, I left after the sales and before the signing session. Over the whole weekend, I was just BUSY... !!! But ... good weekend I must said.
Well, I guess as the most junior lawyer in the firm, I will be attending court matters EVERYDAY and that's what I have been doing for the past weeks since I got my Practising Certificate. Well, trust me, I only have 2 sets of court attires and that's really troubling me as I have to keep on washing them everyday... But I have no budget for clothes at the moment. Believe me or not, I do have about 5 sets before but... I gained weight during my stay in Sabah and that, has made 3 sets into waste (if you know what I really mean).
Sometimes, I am alright with the court matters but sometimes, I just hate I have to face those kind of court matters. Especially those which is contested and the opposing party will be attending, etc. Besides this, I really don't like to run around courts with few court matters at the same time. I do have 3 court matters tomorrow morning and 3 of them in different courts and I will have problem running around I trust. No choice!!!
Life in the office today is considered GOOD. I took initiative talking to my colleagues (although they don't want to talk to me) and trying to get some conversation going, etc... Although you can guess that things didn't work out, but at least I have done my part. ... You can tell how much I don't like office politics... I just HATE IT!!!
OH YEAH....the suprise I got for today is that, I can claim for Saturday Allowance because I attended the Auction Sales... hahahahaha....
Well, I just read a friend's blog and he is questioning himself of what he want in life. It just reminded me that, me too, was in the same situation months ago, wondering and actually still wondering what I want in life. But unless or until we made the decision to stay on that particular things we want / decided to do, we will not keep our mind focus and our soul committed into it. I really have decided to stay with Banking Law for a year and thereafter, move on to other area of laws. I do not want to be an idiot back in Sabah later. In Sabah, everyone knows everything and no one could survive by BANKING law itself. So, I guess... what I need to concentrate now is to learn everything on BANKING and leave... hahaha.... So, yes, I hope this keeps me move on ... throughout the whole year.
